Olympe

GUNWALLOE

The 180 ton French schooner OLYMPE aground at Gunwalloe Church Cove October 3rd 1910.

She was on a voyage from Lannion to Swansea with a cargo of pitwood.

Workers from a nearby Hotel formed a human chain and saved the Captain and crew in gale force conditions.
