Market Hall Stalls

This photograph is believed to have been taken around 1910 and shows the stalls outside of the Market Hall (now the Helston Folk Museum).

Helston once had a flourishing market and stalls lined the streets on market day.

The stalls in the photo are believed to be selling locally grown vegetables, possibly broccoli.

In the background, up the market steps, is ELLIS`s shop (now BOWDENS Ironmongers).
